Websites for Churches & Ministries

Church websites that servethe people doing the serving.

C4 Studios builds websites and media systems for churches and ministries — service times a first-time visitor can find in five seconds, a sermon library that doesn’t depend on one heroic volunteer, and giving that works. It’s run by Caleb Scott, who preaches occasionally himself, so the brief usually takes one conversation instead of five.

The reality

Why do church websites go stale?

Because they’re usually built around a volunteer, not a system. Someone capable sets it up in a burst of energy; eighteen months later they’ve moved on, the password is folklore, and the “Upcoming Events” page advertises a carols night from two years ago. Nobody’s at fault — the structure was always going to do this.

The fix isn’t a fancier site. It’s a simpler one: fewer pages doing clearer jobs, updates that take minutes from a phone, and — the bit almost nobody does — documentation written for whoever serves next. Every church build we ship includes a plain-English handover guide, because the next media volunteer shouldn’t start from zero.

What we build

What does a church website need to do?

Answer the visitor question

New people decide before Sunday. Times, location, parking, what to expect with kids — on the front page, not three clicks deep.

A sustainable sermon library

Embedded from YouTube or your podcast feed so publishing a message is one upload, not a website job.

Events without the rot

A simple events section a volunteer can update from a phone — or pulled live from the calendar you already keep.

Giving that feels safe

Clean integration with the giving platform you already use, presented plainly enough that nobody hesitates.

Multi-campus support

Per-campus times, locations and contacts without building two websites — structured so each congregation finds theirs.

Readable by everyone

Larger type, honest contrast and keyboard-friendly pages — congregations span nine to ninety, and the site should too.

Proof

Ministry work we can point to

Media system

The Rocks

A two-campus media system: services captured, edited and published as a repeatable weekly pipeline — run as ongoing work, not a one-off favour.

Community platform

Transform Fremantle

A purpose-built platform uniting churches across Fremantle — coordinated prayer, shared resources and events for a movement, not just one congregation.

Transform Hakea

A polished site for a prayer movement focused on Hakea Prison — quiet, purposeful design for a ministry that needed to be taken seriously.

Media

Can the weekly media job actually be sustainable?

Yes — if it’s designed as a pipeline instead of a weekly miracle. The two-campus system we run for The Rocks works because every step is defined: capture, edit, publish, archive, same way every week, documented well enough that the roster can change without the output changing. That’s the test worth applying to any media setup: would it survive your best volunteer moving to Melbourne?

Through C4 Lens we can run the pipeline for you, build it and train your team to run it, or land anywhere between — most churches start with us doing it and taper toward their own people as confidence grows.

Pricing

What does a church website cost?

$1,500is where most business websites start.

Plenty of churches genuinely only need the $800 brochure tier — times, sermons, giving, contact — and we’ll say so rather than upsell. Media systems and filming are quoted separately through C4 Lens once we’ve seen your setup.

FAQ

Common questions

Honestly, often $800 — the brochure tier covers times, sermons, events and giving for a single congregation. Larger or multi-campus churches land around $1,500. We price ministries the same as everyone else; the difference is we won’t sell you pages you don’t need.

That’s the design goal. Events, times and notices are editable without touching code, and every build ships with a plain-English handover guide so the next volunteer inherits a system, not a mystery. A $79-a-month care plan exists if you’d rather we handle updates.

Upload to YouTube or a podcast host, and the website embeds from there automatically — one upload, done. It keeps hosting free, your messages searchable where people already are, and the website out of the critical path on a Sunday night.

Yes — we integrate with whatever your church already uses rather than forcing a switch. Clean buttons, clear wording, and the platform’s own secure checkout doing the heavy lifting. If you’re still cash-and-envelope only, we can talk options without pressure.

Caleb preaches occasionally and has built for churches, prayer movements and a two-campus media team — so yes, the rhythms, the volunteer realities and the sensitivities are familiar. You won’t spend the first three meetings explaining what a sermon series is.
