Web Design Perth

Web design in Perththat earns its keep.

C4 Studios is a founder-led web design studio in Perth. We design and build custom websites for small and mid-sized businesses — most land between $1,500 and $2,500, take three to five weeks, and are coded by hand rather than assembled from a template.

Every build is scoped before you commit: a fixed price, a defined page count, named revision rounds and a launch warranty in writing. You deal directly with the person doing the work, from first call to launch.

Approach

What actually makes a business website work?

It isn’t the animation or the colour palette. A website earns its keep when someone lands on it, understands what you do within a few seconds, and can act on it — call, book, buy or enquire — without friction. That sounds obvious, but it’s where most small-business sites in Perth fall over: the phone number is buried, the services read like a mission statement, and the contact form asks eleven questions.

So we design backwards from the action. What should a visitor do? Every section either moves them toward that or gets cut. The design serves the goal, not the other way around.

Included

What’s in every build

Custom design, no templates

Designed for your business from a blank page — not a theme with your logo dropped in.

Hand-coded build

Modern React code, fast by default. No page builders, no plugin stack to babysit.

Mobile first

Most of your visitors are on a phone. The mobile layout is designed, not shrunk.

Conversion structure

Clear calls to action, services written in plain English, contact paths that take seconds.

SEO foundations

Clean headings, meta tags, structured data, sitemap and Search Console — indexed from day one.

Analytics

Know how many people visit, where they came from, and what they did.

Defined revisions

Every package names its revision rounds up front, so feedback has a place to land.

Launch warranty

Fixes to agreed scope are covered after launch — 14 to 90 days depending on the package.

Process

How a build runs

01

Discovery call

A free conversation about what you need, what it should do and what it should cost. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so.

02

Fixed quote

You get a written scope: pages, features, price, timeline and revision rounds. The number doesn’t move unless the scope does.

03

Design and build

We design and code in short cycles and share progress links as we go — no big reveal, no surprises.

04

Review and revise

You walk through the site on your own devices and we work the feedback in. The package defines how many rounds.

05

Launch and warranty

We handle the domain, hosting and go-live, submit the site to Google, and cover agreed-scope fixes through the warranty window.

Pricing

What does a website cost?

$1,500is where most business websites start.

Landing pages start at $500 and brochure sites at $800; ecommerce and web apps scale up from $3,500. Every project gets a fixed written quote before any work starts.

Pay monthly

Own it outright, or subscribe

Not every business wants to put $1,500 down at once, so there’s a second path: we build, host and maintain the site while you pay monthly — $99 a month for a business website — and you own it outright after a defined period, or buy it out early. Hosting, SSL, monitoring and a content update each month are included.

It’s the same build either way. Only the payment changes.

Who it’s for

Who we build for

Trades and construction, fitness studios, churches and ministries, allied health, law firms, cafes and retailers — businesses across Perth from Joondalup down to Mandurah, plus clients elsewhere in WA and interstate. The common thread isn’t industry; it’s wanting a site that does a job, built by someone who picks up the phone.

Under the hood

Why does site speed matter so much?

Two reasons: Google measures it, and customers don’t wait. A hand-coded site has no plugin overhead, no theme bloat and nothing loading that the page doesn’t use, so it’s quick on a phone with average reception — which is where your customers actually are. Speed isn’t a premium add-on here; it’s a consequence of how the sites are built.

The same goes for the basics people skip: pages that work with a keyboard, text that passes colour-contrast checks, images with proper descriptions. Small things, but they widen who can use your site and they’re cheaper to do correctly the first time.

FAQ

Common questions

Our business websites start at $1,500. Landing pages start at $500, brochure sites at $800, online stores at $3,500 and web apps at $4,500. Every project gets a fixed written quote before work starts — the full cost guide on this site breaks down exactly what moves the number.

A landing page can be live inside a couple of weeks. Most business sites take three to five weeks from kickoff, depending mostly on how quickly content and feedback come back. Larger stores and web apps run longer and get their own timeline in the quote.

No. Sites are coded by hand in modern React, which means faster pages and nothing to patch or update every month. If you specifically want WordPress, we’ll say so up front and point you toward someone who does it well rather than sell you the wrong thing.

Yes. Entry packages assume you supply approved copy and images, which keeps them cheap. A copywriting package adds $500, and photography is handled in-house through C4 Lens. Plenty of clients hand us a rough document and we shape it from there.

Every build carries a launch warranty — 14 to 90 days depending on the package — covering fixes to agreed scope. After that, care plans start at $99 a month, or you can book one-off fixes as you need them. There’s no lock-in either way.

Mostly, but not only. The process runs fine remotely — progress links, video calls, shared docs — so while most clients are across Perth, we’ve shipped sites for businesses elsewhere in WA and interstate without ever meeting in person.
