Branding Perth

Branding in Perth, fromfirst logo to full system.

C4 Studios designs brand identities for Perth businesses at every honest price point: a starter logo at $250, a full logo package at $500, brand essentials at $1,200, and complete identity systems from $2,500. Fixed scope, named revision rounds, and final files you actually own.

No brand-strategy theatre, no five-figure discovery phases — considered design work, priced the way a small business can actually buy it.

Straight talk

What does a brand actually buy you?

Recognition and trust, mostly. A consistent identity makes a one-person operation look established and a ten-person operation look organised. It isn’t magic — a logo won’t fix a weak offer. What it fixes is the moment a customer compares your quote, your van, your invoice and your website against a competitor whose pieces all match. Matching pieces read as competence.

That’s why we design systems, not just marks: colour, type, templates and rules that keep everything you put out looking like it came from the same business. Because it did.

Where it lives

Print isn’t dead in Perth — it drives past you daily

For WA trades and local services, the highest-mileage brand asset isn’t the website — it’s the ute. Vehicle wraps, site signage, embroidered hi-vis and the magnet on a fridge do years of unpaid advertising, which is exactly why the mono version of your logo matters as much as the full-colour one. A mark that only works as a glowing gradient on a dark website falls apart on a sign printed in one colour at the local shop.

Every identity we ship is tested against those surfaces before you ever see it, and the file pack includes the formats signwriters and embroiderers actually ask for.

Honest tiers

Is a $250 logo any good?

It’s two considered concepts and one revision round — real design, tightly scoped. For a new trade, a market stall or a side venture still testing its name, it’s exactly the right amount of money. We’d rather you spend $250 now than nothing at all.

But the moment you’re printing vehicle wraps, signage and uniforms, step up a tier. Redoing a cheap logo across a fleet costs far more than starting with the $500 or $1,200 package would have. We’ll tell you which side of that line you’re on before you pay for either.

Deliverables

What lands in your inbox

Every file format

SVG, PNG and PDF, in colour and mono, sized for print, web and social. The files printers actually ask for.

Colour palette

Primary and supporting colours with exact codes for print and screen — no more “sort of blue”.

Typography

Heading and body typefaces chosen to pair with the mark, licensed sensibly.

Templates

Business cards, social profiles and covers — applied design, not just a logo on a white square.

Guidelines

A short document covering spacing, colour use and don’ts, so the next person who touches your brand keeps it straight.

The craft

What makes a logo actually work?

A test we apply to every concept: does it survive at 16 pixels? That’s your favicon, your app icon, the avatar in someone’s phone when you call. If a mark needs a full screen and a gradient to make sense, it fails the places brands actually live now. The strong ones hold their shape in one colour, embroidered on a polo, stamped in mono on an invoice, and squeezed into a browser tab.

That’s why every package ships colour and mono versions in vector formats — and why we design the mark before we decorate it.

Timing

When is it worth rebranding?

Three honest triggers: the business has outgrown what the name and mark promise (the “& Sons” problem), the materials are so inconsistent that customers can’t tell your quote and your invoice came from the same company, or you’re about to spend real money — fit-out, fleet, campaign — pushing an identity you already know is weak. Amplifying a bad brand is the only thing dearer than fixing one.

If none of those apply, keep your money. A brand that’s merely a bit dated but recognised is an asset, not a problem.

Process

How the design process works

01

Brief

A short questionnaire and a call: who you serve, who you’re up against, and what it should feel like. Twenty minutes, not a workshop week.

02

Concepts

Two to five distinct directions depending on package — different ideas, not one idea in five colours.

03

Refine

You pick a direction and we work the feedback through the named revision rounds until it’s right.

04

Package and hand over

Full file set, palette, type and guidelines delivered together. You own the lot outright.

FAQ

Common questions

With us: $250 for a starter logo, $500 for a full logo package with palette and complete file set, $1,200 for brand essentials including business cards and social templates, and from $2,500 for a complete identity system. All fixed-price with defined revisions.

It scales with the package — two concepts and one revision round at $250, up to five concepts and four revision rounds on full identity systems. The counts are written into the quote, so feedback has a defined place to land and the project actually finishes.

Yes. Once the project is paid, the identity and all working files are yours — use them anywhere, forever, no licensing fees. We just ask politely if we can show the work in our portfolio.

Usually that’s exactly the right call. We keep the equity — the shape, the colour people already associate with you — and modernise the execution. A refresh is quoted like a redesign but starts from what works instead of a blank page.

That’s the best-value way to do it. The Launch Bundle pairs a brochure site with a logo and SEO foundation at $2,300, and the Business Builder adds brand essentials, a photography session and more at $4,800 — both cheaper than buying the pieces separately.

Naming the business was hard enough.

Send us the name and what you do. We’ll recommend the right-sized package — not the biggest one.
